Surfside (sleeps 4) is set in an idyllic position, just 50 metres from glorious sand and sea. Tucked in among the sand dunes, it has uninterupted views of the entire St Ives Bay, and is perfect as a base for swimming, surfing and walking. Gwithian Towans is on the noncommercial side of the bay, and has a 3 mile stretch of sandy beach. Gwithian village is close by , with many amenities, as is the town of Hayle.

Surfside has 1 double and 1 twin bedroom, a shower room, fully fitted kitchen, lounge/dining room and sunroom. Bedding is provided but not linen. Dogs are welcome, but it is requested that they remain in the sunroom. Electricity is by meter (one pound coins), and there is parking for 2 cars alongside the chalet. There is a barbecue provided, and garden furniture, for use on the patio.

This is an area of outstanding natural beauty, seals are regularly seen off Godrevy Point, and much of the land around is owned by the National Trust. Many tourist attractions are on hand, especially for children and young people (information centre at Hayle), including St Ives, Penzance, St Michaels Mount and the Eden Project. However once settled, most find that there is little reason to leave the spectacular views and stunning position of Surfside!
