A sheltered position with wooded surroundings, this site caters for all touring caravans and tents. 1 night stop overs welcome. Ample parking space, and a childrens play area. Flush toilets, laundry room and free showers. Electric shaving points. Adjoins Tehidy Country park.
*This quieter, safe, well managed site is a welcome break from the chock a block, sardine style sites closer to the beach, but a short drive from everywhere except the Country Park (Editor)
Getting There.
Take the third exit off the Camborne / Redruth By pass then turn right over the by Pass/ The site is approx 1 mile straight on. Site entrance on the left of the lane on a sharp right hand bend.
From Portreath Follow the coast road towards Gwithian and Hayle (B3301). Take the left hand turn, signposted Camborne, in about a mile turn left at the T junction site is half a mile on the left.
From Redruth follow the road to Camborne/poole, past Safeway Supermarket on the right and at the double roundabout turn right for Tehidy and Portreath go under the A30 and follow the road as it narrows, the site is on the right on a sharp narrow bend.
You can just set up, Mr Williams calls regularly during the day and collects payments around 8 in the morning.
