The Beach House is quietly set back from the sea on Gwithian Towans with stunning views towards Godrevy lighthouse and St Ives and is less than 5 minutes walk to expansive and rightly famous sands stretching 3 miles.  Ideally situated for surfers, families and walkers alike the Beach House is amongst the largest properties on the Towans and sleeps 7 comfortably.  The beach is fully lifeguarded in season, dolphins and seals are frequently sighted.

 

It has been sympathetically refurbished over the last two years in a relaxing and stylish New England mode, the property is a perfect base for either venturing no further than the nearest M&S (brand new) and 7 mins drive away or for exploring Cornwall at its most wild, spectacular and varied: St Ives, Minack Theatre, Lands End, the Lizard, or even the Scillies by helicopter or boat from Penzance.

DOWNSTAIRS

 

Kitchen

Modern open plan kitchen with views to Godrevy lighthouse.  Dining area seats 8 comfortably with doors to decked area with table and chairs.  Beautiful designed with central island, brand new appliances:   fridge/freezer, double oven, ceramic hob, microwave combi oven, dishwasher, washing machine.  Widely equipped with brand new crockery, glassware, utensils etc.

Bathroom

Large family bathroom with bath and shower

 

Master Bedroom

A good size double bedroom, large built in wardrobe and separate chest of drawers with bedside lamps.   There is an ensuite bathroom with electric shower.

 

 

 

 

Triple Bedroom

Next door to master bedroom, ideal for siblings, friends etc. 3 single beds with French doors to front decking and garden, bedside tables with lamps and armchairs (extra mattress available on request)

UPSTAIRS

 

Lounge

Large open area to take maximum advantage of stunning views to front (St Ives, Carbis Bay and side (Godrevy Lighthouse).  Small, private sun trap balcony to side capturing views to Godrevy.

Lots of seating (3 sofas), books, games, maps, ipod speakers, radio and deliberately no TV!

 

Bedroom

Small twin room off lounge with views over fields to Gwithian village and to the lighthouse.  Skylights have blackout blinds and there are bedside tables with lamps and a large chest of drawers just outside room.

 

Outside

Shower (cold!) for wetsuits or sandy bodies.

Private decked and paved area with BBQ, table and chairs, clothes line

Small lawned front garden with large decked area.

Parking for 2 cars (3 at a push)

Dogs

One well behaved owner with a dog by prior arrangement.   Dog ban on beach directly in front of house from 1st May to 30th Sept (allowed everywhere before 0800 and after 1900).  Beach to left of house, through dunes allows dogs all year round.

 

 

TERMS

 

q       Available from 3pm Sat until 10am following Sat

q       One dog may be allowed on request (£25 per week)

q       No smoking in house

q       Non returnable deposit of 25% of rent payable.  To be paid on confirmation of booking. Balance due 6 weeks before holiday date.
